Is it just my location or does management seem to get a kick out of berating employees in front of others? Not one day goes by that some member doesn’t get humiliated in public. I find this to be very unprofessional and demeaning, not to mention it causes fear in others - always wondering who will be next. How does anyone handle such treatment? I find myself wondering what can I do to make things better but then I realize it’s on leadership to do something and unfortunately, we have none.

It May be the same person, we have one manager in our store 365 in Woodlands Texas that’s a little tyrant, he punched a customer and got to keep his job Because of self defense, 5 people overheard him telling the customer “get the eff out of my store!” (Mind you he is an ASM). Before the customer charged at him yet he denied saying it. He is the most disrespectful manager i have ever seen in 30 year's at this store. The way he pages folks on the intercom, the way he talks to people on a daily basis, the way everything is about him, the way he talks to customers, He needs to go, He will cause a lawsuit one day for the company or even worse, injury or death with the way he carries himself. He is a total disgrace and a failure as a human being and leader, he needs medical psychological help.
Same at my store, front end managers are rude to us in front of customers. No acknowledgment of good job, nothing. So frustrating
Isn't Kroger union? If so why isn't the union involved?
