SVS and new job offer

I was offered a job outside of Shell. Is there a way to time it so I can take SVS and start at new company relatively soon? Last day of payroll in the SVS guide says July 31 and new company certainly won’t wait til then.

with Avanti i worked from home and could have easily worked another job as I wasn't asked to do anything for six months before my last day in office. After last day in office date was on income continuance for 3 months. My manager and their manager and their manager didn't care cause they were busy a– kissing for their jobs. they all got laid off lol.

All the high CEPs managing Shell and that is how disfunctional it is. Maybe they should start promoting people with real leadership skills.

Take the job

Apply to SVS

Or as someone else said ... ‘WFH’

With Avanti, last two months involved no work if you were exiting. If you WFH maybe you could make it happen?

Depends....how flexible is your new company about the start date? Because even if your line manager could move up the LDOP date, I doubt it could be before Feb 26th, which is the date they announce outcomes for SVS in the US.

If you have a position that is simply going away and not being back-filled, you may be able to negotiate an early exit date.
