Not sure why we even need layoffs when attrition has been through the roof. The company has been getting rid of employees for years by setting them up for failure through unattainable goals and intentional lack of communication that leaves them making avoidable mistakes they then get blamed for. And it goes on like that until people break and leave - no severance required. Did not enough people quit? Is that it? The master-plan failed?
