Pat promoted?? Lean credited? Any fool can save cash when a pandemic forces you to (finally) allow work from home and then you force it on your employees without helping them with the added expenses. This is not Pat's brilliance nor Lean - it's leveraging your employees in a global crisis.

May not be imminent but could be beneficial
"Digital Grid" leadership change imminent ?
“Digital” burned $2B and still loses money like a fat kid in a donut shop. Let’s put them in charge!
I for some reason can't see any way GED was full year profitable with the way the year ended commercially as well as acquiring the costs of Aviation Digital to the books.
grid needs new leadership
Yes but if the one time writedown of Grid wasnt a one time event those profits would be nonexistent
Grid is the only part of Digital that makes any money. If all of San Ramon went away for good profits would go up!
Only pat knows the answer to the second part.
Are there plans to update the products and upgrade the talent?
Both are dated
Not much to work with-talent or product?
Yes that is the truth; especially in Grid.
Pat has not so much to workwith
Lean is reducing investment for future growth. Even if GED can briefly break even in 2021, it will be red again in 2022
Every CEO needs a new gimmick and buzzword to pacify Wall Street, slash expenses, justify layoffs, and stall pay raises and bonuses it seems.
LC is just protecting his friends. Lot of his pals are being moved around company to protect them from cutbacks and divestitures. In the near future the reasons for the moves will become very clear.
If stretching your employees so thin is called Lean, then damn, Pat did a great job.
NC ofc still open?
