I wasted more than two years of my life on this company. I can tell you without a doubt those were the worst two years of my fifteen-year long career. After a while I started looking for a new job but soon the pandemic happened and I figured I was better off where I was. But with things getting worse and worse, I finally decided to say 'screw it' and take the leap. That was two months ago and I haven't regretted it one bit. My manager now has some actual skills and can help me when I need her to, the work atmosphere is the opposite from the usual FMC toxicity, and I even earn a bit more.
My point is, if you are not happy take that leap. It turns out the grass actually is greener.
