Thread regarding Amazon.com layoffs

I would say that Amazon doesn’t care about the competition...

I was interested in a series of articles on Amazon and its competition (in this case Shopify) and the article emphasized that merchants are leaving Amazon for Shopify. I know that some will say that this has nothing to do with layoffs but rather the business of the company in general, but I think that sooner or later the business will definitely affect the workers.

The market share for online shopping is so large, it wouldn’t matter if 0.001% of Amazon customers went to Shopify. At Amazon’s level, that equates to almost a rounding error for the competition. Amazon cares and doesn’t care at the end of the day. This is because Amazon successfully diversified their revenue streams and, so as long as we hit our revenue targets, we are good
