Thread regarding Lenovo layoffs

The point of a blacklist?

I've been visiting this forum for a while but what finally made me post was the confession of a person who was put on the blacklist so that he could never work at Lenovo again. I’m thinking, who would want to be re-employed after learning about the atmosphere here??? I am actively looking for an alternative and I know I would never repeat my experience here. Feel free to put me on that blacklist.

Question- is the list in DCG or IDG or both?? Not an uncommon thing in this industry- but usually an informal process or a toxic leader who throws this at you as you’re leaving the fold. DCG is a sinking ship- nothing new there - until Mr. British Accent who still needs a haircut gets booted. His poor leadership, complete lack of personal skills outside his inner circle, and narcissistic tendencies are on full display. GET OUT NOW..

Maybe it is to stop executives from coming back after they bounce around at oracle or net app for a year.

I would never go back to that Shole. Best day of my life was being let go. Glad I found a much better opportunity before Covid kicked in. I feel sorry for some that hopped on the revolving door companies. One friend hopped to Cisco only to be let go a few months later. Got an offer from HP, moved to another state, worked 2 months and was laid off. No other work for him there and he has been out of work since April.
