People who were laid off in my department are all 50+ years old. Every single one of them. One woman was laid off after more than three decades with the company! I don't know if this is the case all around but if it is, then it's a clear case of age discrimination. Which is illegal and can and should be sued for. Just saying.

Sorry. Were the he layoffs across the business side, engineering, IT, etc., or were they limited to one sector of the business?
