I can’t understand people who tell others to just be grateful to have a job. That kind of thinking is exactly what put us in the position we are in right now. When you ask us to be satisfied with the crumbs thrown our way, how can anybody be surprised when the only thing we get are crumbs? I think it’s about time we start asking for what we deserve. So as I said, no, I will just be grateful to have a job.

A life where you can pay your mortgage, put good on table for kids, lights. Water, etc. ….. or do your parents still pay for all that so you can continue doing cool things.
It's Karen, thanks! Now let me speak to your manager.
Bye Felicia :)
If your position is not tied to this industry, it makes sense to go. Many others are flourishing and hiring, not to mention have room for GROWTH and pay better.
I’ve heard rumblings there were some pennies thrown for LTI today to the elite. Must be nice.
You are pretty out of touch with reality given what’s transpired in the last year. Hundreds of thousands of layoffs in oil & gas and countless bankruptcies. I’m thankful to be employed at a company with a (now) healthy balance sheet and what looks to be a clear path forward. If you don’t like it then go test the job market and let me know how that goes for you.
And what kind of life would that be? Going to work at "just a job" 9hrs/day? There has got to be more than that and I'm glad I really enjoy my career and we're doing some really cool things and pushing the envelope of what the future of energy is going to look like. So you should be excited to have a front row seat or better yet in the show itself!
