What are your thoughts, folks? With the vaccine, some employees already being called back, some states reopening completely... Do you think we might have passed the worst period and are now on the way to better times? Meaning, no more layoffs and more people returning to work?

Without a doubt, the worst is behind us. More and more people are getting vaccinated and soon the vaccines will be available to everyone. I'm sure we'll continue to follow common-sense safety measures to guard against the further spread of COVID-19 for the rest of 2021, but deaths and severe illness continue to decline by the week.
Disney is also recalling previous laid off (furloughed then separated) employees in waves depending on business need, although I know some poor unfortunate souls who had their previous jobs completely eliminated and will most likely need to reapply for a new role with the company should they wish to return.
We'll be back to somewhat pre-pandemic life by the end of the summer (as in around the end of August), although I expect some changes will linger for quite a while.
Why would a bunch of 30+ Year old friends-of-Mickey and other characters want to go back? Move forward, don’t let your life standstill. It’ll be worse. You have much more to offer the world! You are exceptional and don’t deserve guest cussing at you all the time!
Possible. Still, it will be a much lesser “Disney.” An evil World, never WDW, never DL.
