Anthem is in dire need of being purchased by people that really know what they are doing. People are always at each others throats due to high stress and back stabbing. A supervisor had her 3rd chance to be a manager a couple of years ago and she began by firing almost all of the people that were in the department. For any reason - especially if she found out you were talking to another department about moving there. Her one biggest mistake was in firing the one person that had been there the longest and knew all of the ins and outs (25 years I believe) and how to do most every job within the department. This new manager then staffed the department with her friends from her previous department who knew/know nothing about the job. The manager knew nothing about her job as the one person that could have taught her was snubbed and later fired. Long story short.... the department fell out of compliance for over a year and a half which in turn cost the manager her job too. A little more attention to what was going on in their ranks would have stopped such things from happening. This is a horrific place to work.
Anthem would have ruined Cigna if that deal was completed. But I agree already CVS has made Aetna a bit better and Anthem being sold would be great.
