Talents who are wasting away but wish to remain

Although there are fewer and fewer of them in SG, there are still many talented people. I’m quite sure some of them are better quality employees than those who have years of experience here.
I'm struggling to understand their decision to stay here? Is it possible that they are not aware of the extent to which this company is in trouble? If I was their age, I would run away, I wouldn’t hesitate at all.

@gazb+19T9wnNe - Stupid comment! If someone has put 20+ years service in, they are hardly about to jump ship now!

They are not talents if they are still there, any talent has gone that's why they are talent - anyone still there is just lazy and a fool who is happy to waste away in a dead company walking

NUNJA Numnuts...whether someone chooses to stay or leave is nunja business. Sorry, but there are plenty of reasons both personal and professional as to decisions people make and again, Unless it directly impacts you, “it’s nunja business”

@vah+19T9wnNe they couldn't sell a glass of water to a man in the desert it's not sales fault sales can only sell great product we have no product zero we have data center space anybody can do data center space the reason the company is where it's at is because of the people at the top take their profits take their profits take your bonuses screw the average worker lay them off and then they want to know why the company's not doing well or employees have no motivation.

@vah+19T9wnNe - Who is this muppet? There is no hope of making the company better, at least not by individuals.
@zsc+19T9wnNe - I agree. I know of a few that would jump at the chance of getting laid off.

Maybe they are still there until the right opportunity comes along. We cannot assume they will be able to find a job that either pays them the same or that may offer the same benefits. Particularly for those who may have been there for a long time. Some may be waiting to be laid off, take some time off with pay, etc., but everyone will have the “time’s up” moment.
I was fortunate to have been able to leave on my own terms. Otherwise I would have possibly had another 3 months left before my number got called.

Has the VOIP project been finished yet? I remember that took 5 years to complete when it should’ve taken 5 days
