It is normal to be worried, but I try to control stress and anxiety because there is life after Nokia. Moreover, I can't really say I enjoyed working here but I procrastinated looking for a new job because I didn’t think it was a priority so the layoff would be a good motive for me to find something better.

There is no benefit in worrying. It is counterproductive. You should be entirely focused in finding your next job - especially if you are in the US. The staff in the US is seen as high-cost and the Finnish will always k–l jobs in the US first. Nokia makes every effort to ship high-value/decision-making jobs to Finland and all the rest to low-cost countries. They don't care much about the outcome of their job restructuring policies as long as they are in charge of Nokia - their national "champion".
