After 3 years, it's been fun but the music stopped for me and 4 others. And still more cuts on the horizon for my former colleagues. We've lost 10 customers in the last 2 months to the big cloud guys. Seriously how much more can we lose? I just hope the guys can hold out until the rumours of a buyer is found

We are shedding customers on a regular basis and we have stopped hiring field sales people in many areas.
Market contraction was one of our biggest concerns and Hadoop is a term we just can't escape from.
The fact is, we have fewer customers today combined after the merger than before it.
It's tough when the axe falls. May your talent be recognized and rewarded by your next destination. Also, if the company gets bought may it be swift and the remaining are offered the ability to stay and grow through the next phase.

What “Big Cloud guys” are you referring to? What customers were lost and how do you know what company they went to?
