im not sure the mq-9 was a bottom feeder project, it changed things in many different ways in regards to how we fought traditional war. it defiantly doesn't look like they are trying to bottom feed when ASI is bidding on the skyborg contract. if we continue along the path of bottom feeding there is another issue, GA has more companies to compete against. i could be WRONG but i think that another company will purchase the GA ASI, the companies a San Diego native. and is poised to win a major contract withing the next 2 years. There's also the possibility you're correct but as analyst and as a former employee at headquarters many of us saw the iceberg and could not understand why those in charge continued along the path to it. the ice bergs been hit and the time it takes for the company to sink is just a matter of time.
GA has never competed against the big boy! GA is a bottom feeder the 99 cent store of areospace and defense.... They will never win leading edge technology now have they ever..... but when another bottom feeder contract is available GA will be back in actions!
Disagree. Look at contract results. GA has not won a major contract since it LOST MQ-25. You may say Boeing "cheated," but it still won the contract. GA is a zombie company now. Enough to stay alive, just not enough to compete against the major players.
Space? Pft. SpaceX would eat GA's lunch.
i think the space industry poster is being sarcastic, but for the dead weight. maybe in some departments but i know for a fact that in a few departments in the high desert. the good-ol'-boy culture protected extremely under productive employees. one of my friends who was not laid off decided to leave the company and was shamed by a fellow employee for leaving after he was spared! anyone who believes the BS coming from managers are big dummies! just look at all the competition! the big players are going to outclass GA. GA does not have the ability to hire/retain quality and what contacts the "war on terror" is a theme played well in the early 2000s but its not relevant today. excited is a relative term to absolute "BS"!
Blah blah blah
“ Just had to rid a little of the dead weight “ LMBFAO !!
Then why are you still there !
They are talking about getting into the space industry and how many contracts the company will get in the coming years. I know it was the same talk that was said leading up to the first layoff but i believe they speak the truth GA and the glory days will return!
I agree with this post. Just had to rid of a little dead weight!
