This never happened.
I got my call just before noon. New boss thanked me for my contribution then was gone. HR asked me for my personal email address then was gone. Outplacement asked me how I was feeling and if I had any questions. Then she was gone too.
Husky really treated me respectfully. I trust Cenovus will do the same when it comes your time.
I signed off today. After almost 20 years with Husky my ‘career’ actually ended October 25 not January 26. I ‘m not happy but I am content. Best of luck to all of you who remain.
What does ARTC stand for? Google search comes up with Alberta Royalty Tax Credit...
HR will finish with the Jan 26th crowd (except for those who don't sign) on Feb 5th. Next round will be Level 8, 9, 10 Individual Contributors on Tuesday February 9th. Do not expect advanced notice this time. Only those affected will be contacted in Teams by their Manager.
The longer you survive, the more likely they do things like that and avoid severance payouts.... good job bonus maximizers! Never occurred to you to actually do your job, I even told you this would happen.
One of the models under consideration might be for BK to transfer his DS/MS TS Team to a partner such as Bantrel. Precedence set by Syncrude (CoSyn), Esso (Colt Alliance), and Gulf Canada (Veco) is to offer employment by the new organization in lieu of a severance package.
Not sure, if anyone can verify it. Probably should prepare/expect to be layoff any time working in Husky or Cenovus. This is a merge layoff, so layoff number is announced. There is always layoff here and there every week in Husky or Cenovus.
"Proof?" what proof do you need, take your head out of you but, don't you watch the news or listen to whet they have told us? Do you think they mad the %25 cut already? hello wake up.
