Does it look like Seaworld is going to start calling people back any time soon? I'm worried about my brother, he still hasn't found a replacement job and is not really looking that hard since he's hoping to get that call. And I'm not really sure that call will be coming any time soon, if ever.

Don’t count on getting a call back. I heard that if you haven’t already been asked to go back, you won’t be called back at all.
I dont want to go back anyway, better things are coming, SeaWorld days are a name of the past, there will never be a SeaWorld again like we experienced
Anyone still furloughed will eventually be let go. They're either furloughed because of performance issues, or they're on SR's list of people who spoke out against him on social media (not even speak out..something as small as a like on a comment landed you on the list). Everyone's better off finding a job with a company that will value you and the talent that you bring to the table. This company only cares about the bottom line.
I was told anyone that was furloughed and never got a call back that there is a reason why they are not getting called back. SWSD keeps opening and closing at the whim of the Governor. They have called back some but out right hired new people over the furloughed. I believe SW is just hoping they quit on their own or just waiting for their unemployment to run out and are forced to find another job. Either way it is dispicable.
Thought I'd swing by for old times sake.
Yea in orlando they pretty much hosed everyone who did not get a call back as of Sept 4th. Cant speak to other parks.
I know my old department they reposted some jobs but they aren't the exact same so they will never call me back. Hell I could not even get a phone interview through the contract companies for corporate.
Oh well, I've survived.
What park? At least in Orlando everyone was already fired, I do not believe they will call anyone back. I believe the same is true for Tampa.
Both parks have 2 pages of positions posted though, some in areas such as PE but also lots of front line positions. Almost makes the mass layoffs a few months ago look out of place.
