I am glad I am no longer there. I left right before the huge layoff there (month before). I saw the writing on the wall as early as April when our managers were saying that their indirect costs were substantially exceeding their revenues. They have arduous and inefficient policies and procedures that wouldn't be so bad if they were consistently followed. I was told there one had to move up all of the position grades (1-5) before being considered for promotion to manager. I was told this while witnessing two people getting promoted from position grads 2 & 3 to manager level. While I was there, I saw many people there who worked their butts off stay in the same position while others moved up the chain with little or no resistance. I am in a good place now at a company that is large for a good reason, they are run correctly.

more than you think! about a dozen in the last month in my division. some of it is driven by San Diego (pricey place) compared to Texas, Arizona, Colorado, etc. Others are by competitive companies like Raytheon, Tesla, Google San Diego, Ball, Grumman, and so on that just offer more. Why do you think GA keeps losing talent? Cause the good people can and are leaving, and so the people remaining are those that cannot find a job elsewhere. The result is that you have a sh*t company, lead by people with bad skills driving the smart people away.
You can agree or disagree with me, but it's a FACT that Losing MQ-25 was a company turning point. GA hasnt won a major game since!!!
Wonder how many people would be crawling back on their hands and knees if GA would take them back? So many people complain but never leave.... so many people with no skills and always stay bc they know they can’t find another job.... Who had the skill set to find another job? And who is just complaining hoping GA will take them back?
writing an article in the news paper would be missing something badly, posting on a forum is just what we do in this day and age!
You seem to miss it enough to write a post!
Working at GA was like going back in time... people bragging about knowing everything about MS DOS and how they were experts... the problem was MS DOS was no longer in used.... But so many dumb and outdated managers and employees didn’t even realize it
