Thread regarding Marathon Petroleum layoffs

Left 3 months ago

It was a risky move but it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. I wasn't sure if my new workplace would be a good fit but I was so tired of MPC and its toxic work environment and never-ending layoffs that I decided to go for it. I can't tell you how much better off I'm right now. Pay is a little lower but benefits are better and the work atmosphere is actually enjoyable. I like going to work once again! My whole point is, if you're considering leaving this place there are available jobs. Do yourself a favor and at least check out what's out there.

Same story here, we parted ways a year ago. That company consumed my life! There was zero work life balance. If you are in your 30's or younger, leave that hell hole while you can. You don't want to be in your mid 50's and get let go.
The clock is ticking on this toxic company, don't let the corrupt H.R. dept make your choice for you, walk away! Your friends, family, and your health will thank you.
