Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Will TT Talk like a slimy preacher - snake saleman again

Time for another inspiring Leadership talk about how great Windstream is and how great Windstream is going to be and how having to go through Bankruptcy was the best thing that could ever have happened for Windstream and the employees!
But no raises and more work for you minions. But it's all going to be great, great I tell you! Let me put my hands on your head and provide you my power of healing and faith. While I required millions after destroying the company to keep my faith, you should just follow my babbling! The Company is stronger than ever, Software power house, babble, babble, babble.
I could be wrong, any bets??

FTR will merge with WIN and the B f—ng will continue. The execs get rich and rape the American taxpayers through government funding. Burden will do nothing to save you. Put up your 1400 bucks for a rainy day....

The frontier bankruptcy exit was the date I figured the changes would happen

you are right about frontier. they are not going to renew their union contracts, they all expire on April 15th(Tax Day). i'll bet that is the new date for our next merger. Y'all are fine for now after that there is no tellin where things will end up.

@ TT sdwan champ

I'm sure they are going through the regulatory motions to mix the 3 up. Things are going to get messy with Unity owning the outside plant and facilities and WIN running the services. FTR is all F'd up right now and really needs to hit the reset button. Go and look at their layoffs page and you'll see they have lots of union issues right now with contract renewals.

I know we were told "no merit increase for you salaried employees"
There is no roadmap for profitability right now just buzzwords and power points.

Clowns can dress and act anyway when they can hide privately. Windstream is still losing money after bankruptcy cleared billions. Windstream and Frontier and Uniti are Elliotts pigs. There’s a plan somewhere to dress them up and combine them and get rid of the rest. Nothing but glaze on dog dookie has ever been spoken by management. Working till they lay me off.

To paraphrase..."no merit increase for you salaried employees, but every three years works for us in executive management" is one thing he could have avoided saying.

We've doubled our workload... I guess our only incentive to work harder is the hope we won't be in the next round of layoffs.

Why can't Windstream keep employee pay even with inflation? A question leadership could not or would not answer.

Leadership here is worthless. It is everyone for themselves.

I would first share the wealth. The greed at the top is insane. Since this will never be admitted or addressed why bother with any other details. I would be happy if my work load was manageable and I kept even with inflation. Clear enough for you?

I’m genuinely curious what your message would be to the troops? You guys sure do piss and moan a lot when comes to everything he has to say.

Go ahead.... I’m sure we’re all curious to hear what you would do different that would wow the troops and completely change the tide of moral here...

"Bankruptcy was the best thing that could ever have happened for Windstream"

What kind of leader says that? Your team is the one that F'd up the whole thing.
You and your friends are still trying pick up the pieces after the chapter 11 antics.

Personally I think his TT talks are quite entertaining. It’s even more fun to watch with no sound! He looks like he takes himself so seriously, lol! And like every word he says is the most important and interesting thing anyone has ever heard. Oh and that stupid smug quiet demeanor like he’s trying not to wake la familia at 3 am when he records these things, lol!! Such a tool.

TT is a snake oil salesman, same as Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn. Only problem is they pitch a non-existent product while this software development powerhouse is still looking for a bucket of dial tone while leading the SDWAN revolution.

I thought the LR5 needed the tens of millions in bonus money to motivate them to stay on thru the bankruptcy?! Thats what they told the judge to authorize those payments. Now that we are thru the bankruptcy why are they still here collecting a check?! What is their motivation to continue to work without the MILLIONS in bonues money?! They have lied at every turn and bled this company dry. They got insanely rich while taking private jets around the world while taking a fortune 500 company to a bottom feeder owned by a bank. Employees 401Ks disappeared ruining retirement funds for so many employees and they continue to smile at your face while discussing your layoff behind closed doors. These people are scum with no compassion, just look at the health benefits they provide, that is the worst benefits package on the history of telecom companies and its not close. Its not a prison like tony said, so you can leave. But if you stay you are accepting their terms and their treatment, so your lack of self confidence is alarming.

"Bankruptcy was the best thing that could ever have happened for Windstream" - because of the millions and millions they didn't have to pay to their creditors. This way the LR5 could keep their paydays coming too. Don't have to be a financial genius to see that.

To whomever posted this I agree. For everyone that is still employed there, best of luck. Sometimes you have to see the writing on the wall and sometimes people just don't see it. TT is not your Savior and after years of layoffs and broken promises it's proven. Sometimes people just can't let go and move on. 25 years there and I jumped off the Titanic. I survived and it was the best thing in my career.
