What is the current status at Ricoh?

I've lost touch with my old co-workers over the past several months, mostly I felt too embarrassed I am still collecting UI, however, I'm insanely curious to know what is going on. I know alot of what is posted on here is rumor and conjecture until it actually happens. My question is this: what actually has been announced in the last few months, have there been any more layoffs since the end of summer round I was part of, is the splitting up of the company thing official, and have any territories been sold to dealers yet?

So no one knows what state sold off to a dealer? I call BS.

Candid feedback from numerous customers and majority do not have a lot of confidence in ricoh or it’s dealers as IT msp. Maybe get into HVAC?

I believe it was simply a state of mind. Hardware support staff will be in a constant state awaiting the sword of Damocles. Only real opportunities within Ricoh are IT services and 3rd Party apps 'surrounding the box'. And that box is dying the death of a thousand paper cuts.

Can someone tell us which state sold off their base to a dealer? Just curious. Betting there will be a lot more of this.

I know of one whole state that was recently sold to a dealer. In that case it was every account in the state Ricoh had. The techs that were covering it were laid off. This was within the last three weeks.
