Thread regarding Cognizant layoffs

Do you feel forced to leave?

At first I thought that I was exaggerating things and convinced myself that it wasn’t much better in other places either and that I wouldn’t be much happier somewhere else because there is hardly an ideal job where everything is great for an employee. Then I was just hoping to get laid off and I was sorry when I wasn't.
Now I just can’t stand it anymore, I’ve sent a lot of applications and can’t wait to get out of here.

Well .. I don’t think anybody makes less than $70K at Cognizant US.

honestly if you are making less than 45k a year you might as well shop around for another job. people in 30-40k a year jobs seem to be thrown away the millisecond the company can make a buck doing so. If you got a feeling that things are going south trust your gut, start the search get something lined dont need to leave but its better than getting blind sided by layoffs. Trust me your company doesnt care about you unless your a high level manager, every company is like this.
