It is all propaganda. S—ing employees in to believe they care. They only care how they look to shareholders. The constant request for our opinions is pathetic. Y’all went to fancy colleges, Wharton, Harvard, University of Michigan...and are paid quite well...you frankly should know the answers. Send the employees a survey in mid-March asking them if they are happy with their bonus based to how much work and extra work they’d done in 2020. That will be an honest statistic. Zero transparency on how the bonus pot is derived and then trickled down. All secret.

Isn’t it disgusting how little they think of their employees? Bonuses, ha. The C suite should forego their bonuses and cascade them down. Success principles do not include our financial success now do they?

Especially the promotion part of it - seen some deserving people get promoted and have seen some real empty shells get promoted— while some who deserve the recognition are just overlooked. Bonus season is coming and more companies are allowing working from home as a permanent solution- maybe things are looking up...
At this point, collect the bonus and leave. Things will not get better. Roles will not open up. Things will not trickle down. People are not going to get promoted.

What about all the P&C employees working day and night on rushed transition and migration projects who were told they had a job, still not have received any information on position, salary, pto, years of service through from Farmers? Great how they participated in the survey which was before they were told they were sold.

@well said. “A heavy push to tell associates how to think” is called brainwashing. They should breed and raise their own children - so that they can have the programmed bots they want. And It’s all about Metrics. Metrics. Metrics. One MetLife should be One MetricLife. And how about a little pay inclusion while you’re preaching Diversity and Inclusion.
Many so called leaders seem like they have given up for the last few months. Watch and see how many leave as soon as bonus pay happens.

@don't trust....well said. another concerning thing is that executive leadership seem to believe they speak for everyone and there is a heavy push to tell associates how to think. they say that we should feel empowered, yet we are micro-managed, they say we should feel that we are able to be autonomous, make decisions, and be part of larger decisions, but we are suppressed. don't know about anyone else but i am hitting the job searches hard until i am out the door.
