HAL doesn’t want to be in the oilfield. Maybe they will merge with Uber and deliver with all of their useless tractors.

Exactly FTI may purchase Halliburton. Our ship has been sinking for a while now. I guess that is what happens when you lay off your experience and keep your buddies who only knew how to B.S.

Must be true, ONLY Halliburton would do something so stupid:
____________________________________________________________
Compared to SLB Schlumberger / Halliburton cant' do a "after drill" cementing job to save their lives without screwing it up or running up cost "over runs" & loosing money on each cementing job; No-just ask any drill rig Company Man who does a better cementing job after drilling Schlumberger or Halliburton.

If your going to be in business of giving a great finished product - don't' count on Halliburton to get it done from the cementing side. 🤔

Must be true, ONLY Halliburton would do something so stupid:

"Market forces rained on the parade of TechnipFMC plc (NYSE:FTI) shareholders today, when the analysts downgraded their forecasts for next year. Both revenue and earnings per share (EPS) estimates were cut sharply as analysts factored in the latest outlook for the business, concluding that they were too optimistic previously."

However, my first thought was that FTI was the symbol for Frac Tech, a second or third tier pressure pumping company, BUT, why would Halliburton purchase that, when Halliburton has BILLIONS of dollars worth of surplus equipment setting around unused, and by and large, worn out, along with the FACT that Halliburton has NOTHING, that cannot be done by these same second and third tier stimulation companies, when it comes to supplying pressure pumping service in ANY of the horizontal shale oil and gas play. (Eagleford, Permian, Marcellus, Bakken, Niobrara, Haynesville)
