Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

I’m sick of getting advice to quit my job

I've noticed that some people on this forum are very sensitive when someone complains about the difficult working conditions here. Immediately they start giving advice to people to quit if they don't like working here. I’m sick of these advices.
Everyone would happy to leave if they had another option. The fact that they still work in this company does not mean that everything here is good. In the meantime, everyone has right to write and complain about everything that is not good in this company.

You are sick of working in Sabre, you are sick of people advising you to quit. A complete pandemic in your life...

Staying in Sabre is your decision. Is it worth it?

Even before the economic downturn the company culture was toxic. The current situation only personifies that. Do what's best for you, but understand that there are companies with better culture and work/life balance out there that actually do what they say. I know from experience, but you should do your own research. There is an uncomfortableness leaving what you know, especially if you've been there a while. It was that way for me, but I'm glad I took the leap.

Because you are in control of your own career and destiny? I mean, there's tons of opportunities out there, but you have to be flexible because the world does not revolve around Dallas.

Amadeus who lost what, $300-something million for 2020 (a rarity for them), are not giving merit increases or performance bonuses for 2020. But they are giving a one-time recognition payment to employees for 2020 that they didn't have to. And what's this...there's 60+ open positions in the US on their website. So don't say there's not 'another option', just because you setup barriers for yourself.
