The non retaliation policy at most companies is a bunch of c––p. Of course they will retaliate against the person complaining. They will just disguise it as something else – lack of work, job performance, etc. Always remember that HR is there to protect the company – not help the employee. Never go to HR or management with a complaint. If you have an issue, you will need to move somewhere else.
