Does anyone know why we cannot delete our chats/conversations on MS Teams? Now that they did away with Skype, we have no choice but to use Teams and it appears that Big Brother is watching! Hum, fuel to fire us? Oh well, we’ll just continue to secretly use our cell phones!

You cannot permanently delete Teams. ALWAYS assume everything on Anthem computers or phones is being monitored.
Really people? Don’t you remember signing and reading annually about company property? Anything said via Anthem phone or PC is completely discoverable information by the company. It is their equipment. Do what most of us did (I’m no longer there), call and talk on your personal cell phone.
By the way...company equipment applies at any company not just Anthem.
All you can do is HIDE them.
Be warned, there is a "Data Loss Prevention" effort underway that is going to be scrutinizing data exfiltration methods, including forwarding to personal emails, uploading to external websites, and copying data to USB drives, as well as other methods. Stay on the safe side, and don't do anything that would catch the attention of this new DLP team.
You should always assume your conversations are being monitored when using company equipment. Don’t have conversations on work devices that you feel like you have to delete 🤷🏼♀️
