The UAVs that are produced in poway are sent to the desert site for flight testing!

These are not new orders bud, these are orders that were postponed due to the pandemic. Sure we will be busy at first but once we complete these orders it will be slow again. At a meeting one of our supervisors was talking about new orders then he was corrected by the department manager, that these are existing orders on the book. It’s good news, bc it is boring as-h at work right now, but it’s a temp thing !! The bonehead corporate rat is C Phillips

I don’t know what department the individual works for but new orders are coming in. The backlog has to die with supply constraints due to Covid and other business taking time off. Defense isn’t the only industry with shortages as the auto industry is being hit hard as well. To say that things are slow and no new orders are coming is would be classified as a lie. Please look at news articles a month after the layoffs last year and that will let people know the truth. But there is a downside as the product we are building is outdated and won’t see a long production cycle. The high desert and poway are mildly connect. The high desert support more existing drone maintenance not new drone maintenance - is really pretty simple if you think about it. But who knows most of what I read on here are a bunch of lies and half truths from bitter ex employees

i work on the production side at GA and there is no new orders piling up, just a few backed up orders that were suppose to be already built months ago. !!! we are extremely slow, last month we only produced 1 UAV and sent it off for flight testing. a few years ago we were producing 5 if not more a month. To the one who said that Poway produces and high desert test, they work hand in hand. if one is busy the other one should also be busy as well. You are the one not making sense the other poster is correct. we are sadly slow everywhere that bears the name GA ASI.

The production of drones are done in poway not the high desert. Testing and maintenance is completed in the high desert. Your response makes no sense and is another clue that more layoffs are needed in the high desert

GA is not going to layoff anytime soon and the orders that are piling is a lie. we are still slow as he-l in the high desert all these d-mb changes that took place that somewhat mimic Northrop corporate culture just makes this place more unbearable. The rat that they brought over from corporate America, he only wanted the layoffs so he can eliminate high earners so they can change the job titles and bring in people and pay them less. GA has lost their prestige and now they are relegated to lobbying to extend the mq9 line and foreign customers sales.
