Thread regarding Web.com Group Inc. layoffs

What did I miss?

I left this company a little over half a year ago. Since it was important for me to leave as soon as possible, I accepted the first job I was offered, so now I am in a company that is only slightly better than this one. What did I miss in half a year since I left? Is there any chance at all that some improvement is on the horizon?

"Hmmm web was not good for you, and the next company you join is also bad. Perhaps, maybe, you're the problem." Obviously, you haven't worked at Web . . . or you're in management there. I worked at Web.com for 8 years. While there were some positive aspects, the overall management "environment" was toxic. Extremely corporate - they focus only on the bottom line. And while they play lip service to caring for the employees, they don't - unless you fall in line with their mentality, which is essentially all about profits.

I now work for a company that is amazing. The CEO cares for his employees and employee morale - while also focusing on producing a superior product AND keeping the customer shappy. Yes. These types of companies exist. :)

My point is that sometimes it's not always about "looking introspectively and see if you can identify what maybe you need to change about yourself." I did that when I was at Web. And yes, I grew personally from it. However, you can grow from every bad experience. But still, the company is bad. Not a good place to work - unless you want to climb the corporate ladder and step over people in the process.

Hmmm web was not good for you, and the next company you join is also bad. Perhaps, maybe, you're the problem. Not sure if you ever considered that or not, but perhaps look introspectively and see if you can identify what maybe you need to change about yourself so perhaps the next place you work at you won't also speak/feel so poorly about like you did the last two.

Just a thought, sport.
