Thoughts on driving record BS

What are your thoughts on their latest invasion of our privacy, pulling driving record? Another disciplinary and firing tool.

The company you work for can do that anytime, you work for them.

I thought they did that every year. I know of one guy who was fired cause he hid the fact he received a dui in his personal vehicle. As stated we are on the companies insurance policy msp they have every right to check our records. Anyways have fun there as I’m out on Friday. Freedom!!!

Lol. Gotta run the lights for safety worked every time too. End of argument. I don't see how them pulling your personal insurance records going back three years is any of their business though. What I do on my time is non of their business.

By the BY ---While i agree its Sh$$$y of them to do. Your in THEIR vehicle on their insurance plan---PERIOD
If they want to call you out for speeding etc. and even excessive idle time.... they CAN call you out...IF you were in YOUR OWN vehicle on your own insurance, then it would be an invasion of privacy....forget the metrics just do the job drive the speed limit and take the time needed for each job if you continue to bow to pressure they will increase said pressure

the entire time i worked for this company i drove 5 miles UNDER the limit --Consistently-----every day every job

for that matter i was the KING of idle time in my area I ran that truck from morning to end of day every single shift for over 9 years--was called out twice on it it went like this

Hey _______ yeahs its SRO hey noticed your trucks been running all day ---yes sir yes it has------well we cant have that-----Uh huh where are you at SRO?-----In the office-----at your desk?----yes------Its nice and comfy in there with that AC isnt it?-----what? ---------yeah its nice and cool in my office too------ fair enough talk later---sure thing----

Never said or did anything to me how can they when its 100 degrees with 97 % Humidity

Moral of the story drive slow complete work as needed no short cuts (metric) and if its hot run your AC YOUR the one in the field they are all at comfy desks in air conditioned offices--also take cool down breaks regularly hydrate quit trying to cut corners to cover theyre incompetency--------- why would you speed? why drive recklessly your driving a billboard--------
