Heh, I remember 20 years ago when contractors did the system fiber rebuild in our area and ran drops to every single house on the street including non-subs. Lots of unauthorized connections to weed out in the months after

Some techs in one of the union shops felt they were entitled to participate on the build because it was taking place in a union area. That does not appear to be the case though. Looks like it’s 100% contractor labor.

Nothing new. When Cablevision did rebuilds it was all done by contractors. And then corporate techs had the privilege of fixing all their f-k ups from rush work.
