Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Store Operations

Store operations have hit an all time low...it's just pathetic! Not sure if it's just me or my store, but everything is chaotic... nothing makes sense anymore!

It's as bad as I have ever seen it at my store and everyday is like the movie Groundhog Day. I think a lot of the moves corporate has made are merely a shell game to make the individual stores appear to be more profitable. However, when looking at the totality of the company I doubt that is true. An example would be moving appliance losses from the stores to a XDT location. The store looks profitable while the XDT is likely hemorrhaging but doesn't get reflected in the reported numbers. And while our comps have been through the roof during the pandemic, they weren't so good just prior. Think once the pandemic sugar rush ends and inflation starts to impact sales the true state of the company will start to come into clearer focus.
