If you were apart of the Nat Gen/ Encompass Town hall meeting last week- if you read between all of the vagueness that was given- you can tell there will be major changes coming that way. Even though we are very short handed- many will be let go during this “ reverse merger.” Also, if you think Allstate will allow Nat Gen leadership to do claims their way- you are in for a very rude awaking.

The NatGen Town Hall meeting was of course managed by the goons at Allstate. Everything had to be scripted because that is how they do it. NatGen meetings never went like this one. Peter is very personable and easy to reach out to. This was poor judgement by Allstate but from what I have heard par for course. So much red tape and no one makes a decision without discussing it with 100 different people. We are in for a very bumpy ride.
Can someone change the batteries in Peter before he speaks next time? Even after the merger he might be the least inspiring leader in the company which is saying quite a bit.
Oh great. I just accepted a job with National General thinking I was getting ahead of the 2021 Allstate layoffs. What is the Esurance treatment? In context it doesn't sound good.
Allstate only purchased NatGen for the market share. The good thing is it should take at least 12 months for Allstate to dismantle the 80% of that company that they don't need giving the NatGen folks the Esurance treatment. They may be hiring now but so was Esurance at this point.
With Allstate taking over Nat Gen pricing, we should see a steady flow of Nat Gen customers defecting. Moreover, independents will not put up with Allstate’s lack of respect they show to agents. Premium losses = More layoffs!
To the person who gave a thumbs down....grow up
I am a nat gen employee....we are hiring
