Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Add Your Skills to Workday!

Stop all this already and just give us our pay increases, if and when that happens I'll be glad to update all this bull into Workday.

DXC always tells us we are responsible for our personal career and if thats the case why do we need to enter this information into yet another piece of software?

Our managers should already know our strong points and if another position opened up, they should be smart enough to recommend us. No Skill's software will replace that, HR wouldn't have a clue about IT technical placement.

It;s all of the UK and all of the US except for the board. Why not fire the board and hire all from low cost countries, think how much more money the company will have and thus bring the shares up

_"In the past the pressure in updating the skills in any system was the prerequisite for a WFR or spin off."_

so true - seen it many times over the years.
The process is not to select for WFR - its to identify who should be excluded from WFR

The targets are already known anyway
Its..

All of UK

Nobody has hassled me to update skills in workday... Last time that happened was a long time ago, when Mikey's squeeze was given workday to make her look important.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it go since Jo left.

Have fun!

I'm over those DXC HR games since a year now. And it feels still soooo great ....

They can't even maintain a tier 2 server. One went down 2 weeks ago and still isn't up properly. They don't even have a backup image. Totally useless and need a rocket up their backside.

You'd think a leading IT company could write a script to transfer data from one system to another...
