Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

No motivation

Altice has stripped the motivation out of Operations.
No consequences for poor work ethic, and no reward for good work ethic.
Everyone should pump there brakes....

Bonuses stripped,
Being able to cash out unused sick and personal stripped,
Grade levels stripped from about 7 career progressions at 10% increase each step, to 2 career progressions that total if your lucky 12% total pay increase

What a joke

Wait Still not done,
Christmas dinner stripped,
Catering and picnics stripped,
Some depots had bagels on hump day stripped even the toaster gone,
Quarterly chances depending on ur metrics spin for gift cards...
Trucks being sold off to contractors
Supplying contractors better than their operations

Now left left with employees that are not happy because the writing is on the wall.
But let me use all contractors to replace 70% less of inhouse ops and let it burn

And now scramble and wonder why altice has record high trouble calls and a demand from a sh*t load of towns and cities asking for altice franchise to be revoked from them..

Good luck imma work just enough that when I get my check I'll make sure that I wear a ski mask

If you add more sugar to your kool aid you may think that you stand a chance. You guys must wake up and stand up for your self and at minimum your family. Just leave there is a better life after this place.

There is no value in me wasting my time here. I cared about my job, however my family will come first. I will do the bare minimum until I leave. I cared about every customer I serviced. Now it’s clear the job is done . I will not have Altice ruin my life. I wish all technicians and employees the best, they will fail !

I am leaving in July for a better opportunity There is no way I will continue to work for nothing . There is no advancement and no one cares about us. There is no future here and it was made very clear. My family means more to me then working for a company that has little value in its employees!

Yea I was BBT 1 at Piscataway office from 9/2018 thru 2020 layoffs 5/2020. This company with its French ownership is so ass backwards I honestly couldn’t believe what I was witnessing at this place. How little they care about there customers and how much more they care less about there in-house techs. I’m probably being very bitter and spiteful but for good reason. My first year ther I finished #1 a handful of times and top 10 the other half busting my ass for them with these 6 to -10 box triple installs everyday. And for that I’m considered expendable in there layoff plans but dudes faking injuries and being light duty for months are worth keeping, but whatever I
