i know of several colleagues, many of whom ive worked with for years, with new jobs lined up - just waiting for the pandemic to end

you think it's bad now? see in 2 months, a LOT of people are going to leave

There will be more people leaving when they are forced to return to work on site. A lot of people don't feel safe on site yet.

I was hoping they would lay me off in January because I didn't want to work there anymore anyway. And it didn't happen. I suspect there will be more lay off's at some point, but meanwhile, I see a lot of people leaving for other jobs voluntarily. I just left there after many years and was so glad to do so.

GA has always had a high turnover rate - so this is nothing new.... when people that have been there for 10 years start leaving with no skill set .... that will be new!

Gee, I can't imagine why anyone would want to leave an underpaid, underappreciated job with high likelihood of a mass layoff...

There have been multiple Pilots and aircrew that I know that have left recently. To that I say good. Just more of a likelihood that we won't have another layoff.
