The people are scared of management from the ivory tower. And the people in the ivory tower are out to intimidate anyone who questions their opinions.
I have personally seen people with 20-30 years experience, scared of their own shadows after dealing with these people. These self appointed gods are vindictive and arrogant, and are on a total power trip.
Anyone staying here and working with these dictators is part of the problem and not the solution here.

Konica surprised our employees and customers by dumping us over to a local dealer. Gave no warning and turned all of our lives upside down. After 90 days we have lost all our sales and logistics staff. Service techs are planning on leaving as soon as GPS micro managing starts.
Really a horrible company! We were promised no layoffs and guaranteed our jobs. But the former CEO burned us good.
Does makes perfect sense and long overdue = I’m seeing this from all players and the conversations with dealers are really heating up.
Selling off or “giving away” basically amount to the same thing. No such thing as a free lunch so “giving base” will come with a lot of contractual conditions to the dealer. KM better hurry up because clock is ticking and competitor Dealer channels are running.

Branches have been a money suck of KM for some time. Covid or not, this makes sense and is long overdue. If anything, this is a positive for the company.
