Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

They don't take us seriously

I think it will be a long time before DXC realizes that not everyone is replaceable. It seems to me that their current attitude is “take it or leave it”, in other words they do nothing to keep employees thinking that everyone should be thrilled and grateful to be working here.
This is very frivolous for any company, and especially for a company that has any aspirations to grow.

DXC has little to no SME on
business or IT support for many internal systems. How do you deliver on projects at client sites let alone internally.

Grow? You think the leaders want the company to grow?

DXC is already a success for those at the top. It is working exactly as expected. The leaders only need a few years of squeezing everything out of the company. Then they ride off with their big payday.

The longterm health and success of DXC is not the plan or the goal. Never was. Never will be.

Do yourself a favor. Leave like the rest of us. Find a company that has an actual vision and growth plan. You will not regret it.

Mike Salerno comes from IT outsourcing BPO so he has a passion for it but the margins at big blue and DX are one and a half to 2%. So it keeps your stock from being lumpy and keeps you at a customer

Mike Salerno will get Ken Sharpie to just find more places to cut without disrupting the apple cart. Nobody wants to buy with 10 billion in debt due 2030.

Platform Lex Luthor is for on-premise while companies like BMC Patrol can't survive in this business why do you think purple black and white will survive

Adventure is making acquisitions while Mike Salerno is selling off parts to reduce debt.

10 billion is too much debt without any revenue

Bionix/Platform X will not replace anything.

Bionix/Platform X will be replaced soon with the next big thing which will never be realized.

Bionix/Platform X will replace all the whiners and the share price will soar. Salvino, the leadership and directors deserve their bonuses just look at where the stock price is at. Atos could see the value and realised they couldn't afford to buy DXC and walked. The only people being WFRd are the hangers on and non-believers. Should be grateful to work for DXC, we are showing up as new DXC everyday and seizing the market.

The thing is, everyone from Mike Salvino down is replaceable. The problem is that DXC doesn't replace leavers, leading to client service delivery getting worse and worse. And as service levels get worse, clients leave, because DXC most definitely is replaceable.

I left some time back, but based on the posts I've seen on here, it does seem that there's less WFR going on this year than there has been in the last few years though. Maybe Mike S has realised that there's a limit to how much more cutting the organization can take??

No strategy worth anything; no leadership; incompetent; incapable management. You can't fix what you don't understand. Not that they really care anyhow. Get out when you can.

Nothing has changed. Same li–yasking for a raise and doing nothing. Salerno well triple stock price before 5 years for bonus. Sharpie will slash and burn. Why don't you all give yourself nicknames so we know who is who on this. Same three people sending messages. All li–y

Well I say F them unless we all get good pay increases soon. Otherwise I'll do nothing or as little as I can till I am WFR. I oreads started the slow down last year will keep it going

Join me! As long as the directors keep getting zero dollar stock options , pay increases, bonuses then we work less and less. F-clean them

DXC is a lost cause, and few expect to see any change of direction in the future.

If only the people at the top would have a change of heart, and 'invest' in their employees, rather than seeing them as necessary burden.

Till they realize this, and more importantly do something about it, the more "successful India based service providers" will continue to take market share.

Don't hold your breath...

Having just left DXC and started with one of more successful India based service providers - I can say the contrast is stark. No need to bleat here really, but until DXC builds some credibility, they will struggle! Remember, DXC is trying to 'build' something they never quite attained (missing the golden opportunity post merge period through investment cuts) yet they continue to pursue ITO business - trying to under price the 'off shore' experts 🤔
