She is also not very attentive to African Americans or any person of color for that matter. She really needs to be given her notice already.

I will take her place. I work with the appeals data across all lines and it is a mess. Reporting on the data is such a pain and I have to code workarounds for everything. I have said from day one when I started working with CSBD data the front end needs locked down only free text in case notes. No one listens. Instead when I work with any SME for any line they all pass the buck saying end-user entry errors or the data from the authorizations system put things in that way. You cannot allow free-text for everytihng because it is that whole thing garbage in garbage out. Sure those of you in GnA doing the data entry will have some learning curves and challenges as you must populate the fields but in the end you will get used to it and it will probably increase your TAT and make you more productive. We should have as an org 99.99% clean data. There is just no excuse for it. The reason we have so many flawed systems is because IT is the last thought when they should be the first. If we want to automate and push for machine learning we have to have a solid foundation and we do not. Our leaders tend to run out and buy all the furniture from Rooms to Go so they can decorate the house. The problem is they have not even bought the land or created any architectural drawings. Build a solid foundation first and then you can decorate aka automate.

Do not bother going out of your way for this department. In fact do the minimum. This leadership is under the g-n and being monitored and needs to show progress NOW or else. If you want a change at her level then LET CASES GO LATE!! Just CYA !

I appreciate everyone on here expressing their thoughts but all this is babble. She is not going anywhere. She will take down everyone including the whole darn ship before she goes down herself.

@5rfd+1asP3jII This SVP is like no other. We have been dealing with new ones every couple years or so the last 6 years and this one has to be the most incompetent, ridiculous and unrealistic one we have had. She wants no accountability and always looking to blame or deflect. Everyone is looking to get out even for a demotion at this point.

This G&A SVP sounds like several SVPs at Anthem. Apparently it takes that sort of personality to advance at the company which is sad because it makes the majority of the people under them miserable.

Who would replace her? Any good candidates out there? This is my fear, this could be a “be careful what you wish for” situation. G&A seemed to function best under the medical side of things. Placing G&A under claims, especially with the MENSA members running claims, has been a disaster. Morale is as low as its ever been in the department.
