Thread regarding Collins Aerospace layoffs

Personal impressions matter the most...unfortunately...

People in general are always prone to biased truth, however, this is the reality:

Layoffs were made not based on contributions, knowledge, dedication, efficiency, professionalism or seniority, but on connection to and liking or disliking by senior managers. It's simple truth of what happened. It's disgrace to management.

When a colleague got laid off who was one of the greatest experts who added a lot of value to this company, I realized that it all depends only on the personal impression/ animosity of the manager.

I was in a senior management meeting while a layoff was being planned, HR refuse to speak but used fingers to communicate how many would be impacted - Cowards
