What to expect from FY2021 numbers report

To all bonus seekers and of payrise hopers:
With the reporting of the fiscal year numbers end of May the fairy will fullfill a request of more money ... for the share holders. There will be a dividend again. Nothing left for the employees. So soooorry.

And the readers of layoff should prepare on a high number of post "but we deserve it", "x years without payrise", "It's not fair.".

If only it was just 1% per year...

UK inflation (using RPI) over the last 8 years cumulatively is 23% - almost double the rate the previous poster suggested (which was already bad enough)

That means, for anyone who doesn't understand, that for every £10,000 of your salary its actually worth only £7,700 now.

That's a twenty three percent pay cut effectively.

And that's before you consider any effects of increased market demand on your skills. Together I suspect I'm 50% down on my market value.

Yes, I could have got another job, but that's not the point - its not about anyone's personal situation, this is about the bare faced cheek of those who have raked in hundreds of millions while everyone else has been kicked in the ba--s. And they still continue to do this, laughing in the face of the plebs while telling us "we care about you".

7 years, 9 months, 11 days including the end date. since my last pay increase. Even if I assume only a 1% increase each year I am down almost $10,000 and if you include infaltaction. To put it another way $100,000 in 2021 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $87,232.17 today, an increase of $-12,767.83 over 8 years.

I would say something positive is happening because the share price is rising but we have to remember just how big mikey #1 managed to pump it and there was zero substance to that.

Force the useful id--ts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot) out now and spend the huge amount of money saved for salarly increases for those that do add customer value. Change the mantra “if you do not like it, find another job” to “if you can not fix it, get out”. Stop accepting the corporate toxic propaganda, identify the UIs and trigger candid conversations. Involve your WCs! Who are the Useful Id--ts in your organization?

Salvino is a con man and his team of flunkies are carpet-bagging vultures. If this company can afford to pay the CEO $13M, it can afford to give inflation-matching payrises to its staff who produce the ACTUAL value.

Not quite right. There are a select few employees who will benefit greatly from dividends and the increase in share price. The rest are nothing more than a signature away from a WFR on any day of the week.
