Thread regarding Refinitiv layoffs

Do they intentionally motivate you to leave?

The more people leave voluntarily, the fewer they will have to lay off. I have been here for a long time and I notice that lately they have been using all possible ways to make my work harder, to get me to the breaking point and so I leave on my own.
Well, that won't happen, because if I could last until now, I'll last for a while until the layoff comes, because I don't want to make their job easier. (unless I get a better option in the meantime)

This is quite common now. With this vague and unfair "Refinitiv Performance Framework" 10% or more must be rated as "underperforming" -> Performance Improvement Plan with unrealistic goals -> failed -> goodbye with no redundancy package

I usually only intentionally motivate the slackers and under performers, and the lifers who are too scared to leave. They tend to be the ones crying about how hard it is, but never actually leave, they just endlessly moan. We don't really care, so get your stuff together and go be happy where you are not overworked and no we don't want you to break, so help yourself and get out pronto. Have a happy underworked and motivating life. ~All da best, hugs and kisses.
