Thread regarding Neiman Marcus Group layoffs

How much do you trust our leaders?

I would trust them, if only they proved that they really are leaders. I don’t consider them leaders at all and I don’t trust them. Whatever they say, I have no confidence in them. I don't know why they deserve to be trusted at all??? If I were in their place, I would feel very miserable if I knew what my employees think of me.

Give up hope. We know he is getting ready to hire another outsider to the Csuite. This persons experience will leave you all scratching your head. Sad sad sad. The decision could’ve been so easy.

The idea that there may be a C suite hire we can all trust has one fatal flaw: Geoffroy is doing the hiring! Look at the people he's hired - some of them have already left - do any give any vibe other than they are a yes person to him?
The board should not wait any longer!

Maybe someone will join the c-suite that we trust. When that happens perhaps the board and GLT will pivot. Until that time, the entire organization is in trouble.

No trust. He continues to hire people that are just like him. If you’re a hard worker but not one of his friends, start looking! You’ll be replaced by some under qualified “yes” man/woman. Hurry and get all the help from legal and finance. Those employees are gonna flea the scene soon.

He's the most image conscious person to ever work at NMG and that's saying a lot. All of his power is fueled by the board. They've done nothing but encourage him. Trust was lost a long time ago.

GVR lost all trust when the truth came out about his $10M bonuses, his extra special health plan, his hiring of his semi qualified friends and his reaction to it all. He didn't care what anyone thought of it. He's lost all awareness.

Not at all. They think of themselves first - money & image - but they can't work together or inspire the rest of us. Even in the virtual world, we all "see" it.
No trust.
