I took a job with Tesla, waited for my official offer to come after my background check was cleared. I applied on April 1st, interviewed and offered the job April 5th, 2022. My start date was set for May 3rd, 2021 in Draper, Utah. I signed 4 written offer letters as they kept making internal mistakes (first red flag). I quit my job in Maine, and moved to Utah. Arrived the night of the 29th, was called the morning of the 30th saying my start date had been pushed to May 17th, 2021 (second red flag). Got a phonecall the 7th of May saying my job offer had been rescinded, no reason was provided. I was told I would be prioritized for other positions in the SLC area and for a remote work, was also told I would be given a months pay for the rate I was to be working for. None of that has been followed through on, HR rep I was dealing with is spotty with email responses and does not answer phone. I had so much respect for Tesla, clearly they have major internal issues they need to sort out. Being a large multinational company is no excuse for this.

Remember companies have to soul, never give them 100% as they can get rid of you anytime.
Tesla is laying off all remote workers in its solar division in order to start a call center in Buffalo, NY. They are doing this to meet the employment requirement with the state of NY which requires them to have placed a certain amount of jobs in NY or get a hefty fine.
Get legal help before that company goes out of business
