Thread regarding Regions Bank layoffs

Still the same problems?

I left here last year and finally got some relief. The close colleagues I had there also left the company. I conclude that there are still the same problems and that nothing is changing for the better? If things don’t get any worse, it’s not any more comforting.

CORRECT! Regions Fairhope! They are snooty too! No experience. Fired all the older workers. They closed my account in feb. I am just now hearing of it. Its october my direct deposit is somewhere in cyberspace! Regions was no help even after Social Security traced it, gave me the trace numbers. The short, long haired girl did not even invite me into their office. I knew I was DONE! This never happened in Mobile! Getting out of Fairhope. Regions, you will not be around any longer! If you continue!

I have banked with Regions since I was 16, when it was Merchants National Bank in Mobile, Alabama. I asked them to put a limit or just stop paying if there is not money in there. No can do. They would not even witness a signature on a change of beneficiary. The branch in Fairhope, Alabama is like a ghost town. They blame their lack of employees on the fact that people were getting more on unemployment. "Not so". I told them. I took a look at their earnings. The majority of the earnings were from EXCESSIVE FEES TO CUSTOMERS. They are trading at a very low price as compared to other banks. Think I'll go back to the old way of doing things or go with a bank that offers the products I need. Even their NOW card is more trouble than it's worth. Regions laid off people. A teller told me that they start at 10 usd per hour. Benefits? Think again. All banks are the same. No more direct deposit! They have made quite enough money over the years off of me and my family. I'm done!
