Thread regarding General Mills Inc. layoffs

I don't trust them anymore

Unfortunately, even when I hear some supervisor say that the sales force will not be impacted, I don’t believe a word of it.
I don’t want to sound like a bearer of bad news, but I’m only sure of one thing: that we should have left here a long time ago, not letting them squeeze us out in the worst period of COVID, and having them lay us off now.

I don’t understand as the field force is told to still order POS for events in August and September like there are no issues at all? I can’t imagine the RSLs would have people order displays if they were being let go.

I think they are doing their best and my direct manger does not think it will effect our unit as we are in headquarters account team, he hinted the field reps for retail and convince food may be looked at. How many reps are there ?
