MRO Blacklisted Laid Off Employees

It seems that former MRO employees that were laid off are blacklisted from future employment. They’re also telling major recruiting firms in Houston that they will not hire previous MRO employees. You have to ask why….and its because of the 401k vesting because MRO mostly laid off less than 3 year employees as not to pay them their stock and 401k vesting. Pathetic…

MRO has Blacklisted their prior employees, look at many from the lay of of April 2020, may are out of work and not able to obtain a job. Also MRO never paid those who decided not not take the training course, so the one who elected to have it go to continued education, have never been reimbursed their $1,500 as promised, even though documents have been provided.
HR has not responded and not paid anyone back...….hmmmm
Maybe prior employees expense is going to the disliked new building?

Asking for a friend. How is Marathon’s Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance structured. If you have coverage on the girder day of the month and resign the 2nd day of the month do you have BCBS coverage the rest of the month or do you lose coverage instantly the day you resign?

I would have to agree with the above statement, many MRO employees from first layoff (less than 1/2) from round are not finding new employment.
Regardless of their package they took continued education option or job assistance. NONE of those agreements were honored if you choose to get training over your job assistance, which I heard was not worth your time or money. I sent emails to HR for reimbursement, multiple times and yet I have not yet received a response or a check to pay me back!
So yes I have been unemployed for close to 15 months without luck or responses for future jobs. Maybe a couple of interviews that went very well to say but no job presented. So I would have to agree there is “Blacklisting at MRO is doing” and it does exist!!

This post makes no sense. Please explain what 401k vesting has to do with blacklisting? The only thing I can make out of this post is that MRO has told recruiting companies they won’t rehire employees they laid off which doesn’t seem like some huge scandal.

Why would a new employer care if your old 401k vested or not?

Umm, your 401K vest immediately. You might be referring to the pension. As for stock, this last round the paid what was going to vest this year in cash. The place is still a sh-t show. Looking forward to the new MRO call center office.
