I’m sorry to hear, hang in there as life does not end with any company. Best of luck to you
@1sux+1bTzDbTA, I believe BH is ''singing the song'' that media wants to hear '' green logo'', ''renewables'' and so on. Their business model strongly depends on Oil and Gas industry.
Purchasing companies that has nothing to do with energy industry, obviously shows their lack of understanding of the company strategy and how that align with their business goals. I will agree with you that they are lost and this is a result of promoting incompetence to the top.
I believe this is TSS learning digital platform, they are providing cohort-based live online courses. One of my friend has registered to one of their 5 weeks program “Energy Transition” , I heard that they are 15 in the course they are all experienced professionals, the live sessions are 2 hours per week, the instructor that teach the course is British he has hands-on experience with renewables. I heard from my friend that the course was @ £ 550, are not accredited but at least are teach by individuals with hands-on experience, so you learn some practical skills. I have registered also myself to their waiting list to attend next course programme in September, I hope they will accept me. I was thinking to enroll in a Master at Uni, but my wife with 3 degrees still wasn’t able to get a job in the last year. So, I think better I will spend my money on cohort learning and networking with others professionals. I feel like these days a degree is not valued by HR or those that are hiring, no point for me to spend any more money at Uni.
If you can answer this question, I’ll provide 19 years of offshore construction, production, upstream, power gen, $300m capital energy facility details.
Question: With BH making energy transition and boasting green energy technology, why is BH supporting the increase of onshore and offshore upstream drilling projects. Is BH just putting out into the media what everyone wants to hear?
I’ve been watching BH also purchase companies that have absolutely nothing to do with energy at any level.
Is this company lost?
@keb+1bTzDbTA, thanks for your comment. I feel like a lot of experience and talent in energy industry is wasted because of the current market environment. I am going to give the opportunity to those that are willing to take this opportunity, to express their talents, share their knowledge and expertise with the world. Rise your profile, show your worth and what you are capable of.
Don’t get anyone ex-aberdeen drilling dept ffs. What a mess.
