Thread regarding JCPenney layoffs

Why are you STILL here?

I wasn’t happy and I left 3 year ago for a competitor. The culture is like night and day. There is more of an employee focus than I’ve ever experienced with JCP, which include annual raises and quarterly bonuses. Benefits are great and my coworkers and I get along - no backstabbing involved. Why anyone would choose to remain is a mystery to me.

All you people are eff'n nuts.

In a time when and where EVERYONE, including, and especially, Wall Street pundits, KNOW JCP is going down for the final and last time, and it's only a MATTER of time, the j/a/k/a/$/$/e/s at JCP are STILL handing out raises, promotions, and bonuses. This I know because I know clueless insiders still working at JCP who just received promotions AND double digit raises AND who think that this elitist sociopathy is OK and alright ... simply because they got theirs ... for now.

I mean, you gotta be kiddin' me.

This is the same eff'd up outfit that cost someone I personally know 10s of 1000s of dollars in lost JCP bonds 'cuz JCP didn't honour their debt BUT JCP DID pay out the last failed loss of a CEO, that bee-atch from JoAnn Fabrics, millions of dollars in golden parachute to leave, as well as paying her out her employment contract, all her unused vacation/PTO, etc.

You j/a/k/a/$/$/e/s have been through 5 totally incompetent CEOs in ~7 years.

This whole s/h/y/t show was a failure of management at ALL levels but especially at the top, and it is MANAGEMENT that walks away with all the money.

You sheople are mo--ns for giving one iota of your allegiance to a bunch of criminal thieves such the likes that have destroyed yet another iconic what used to be wonderful American brand.

Every manager in/at JCP should be behind bars ... every eff'n one.

And every one of you that stays and supports this shee-at show deserves everything you're getting.

Make ABSOLUTELY no mistake ... JCP is doomed. And it never had to be this way ...

We need a new ? the one they recently hired as no leadership skills, employees constantly calling out, new person has no leadership skills again, why bring in these young folks that don't know the jcp culture. This person doesn't even help on the floor, WHAT IS A PERSON LOST IN THE SAUCE, DOUBLE jeopardy question.....what is store manager
