I used to be happy with my job and satisfied with the way my career was progressing but that is no longer true. This company has changed drastically in the last several years. It no longer matters how hard you work and what experience and knowledge you bring to the table. If one of the number-crunchers picks you, you're gone. Loyalty be damned. Promotions are now reserved for yes-men and a-s kissers, hard work and putting in the effort mean nothing. I've never been more unhappy with my job than I am now.

Raytheon = Consolidation
Not a career
Raytheon the parent is looking for a 25% reduction on industrial space, and approximately 40 to 50% reduction in headcount. They want a flatter organizational, I.e., do more with less people.(Benefits are decrease in fast) The best medical plan requires $7,000 annual detectable with extremely high family cost, in the ballpark of $500 to $700 per month.
I'm sorry you didn't see that sooner. I'm over a year gone from Collins and haven't been happier. Firms are hiring all over, get that resume out there and to a better employer
I agree
Many people feel this way
